Project Information
- Projects offered during the Fall and Spring semesters
- One or more students assigned to a project; each student contributing 60-80 hours
- Projects completed within semester timeframe, approximately 3 ½ months
- Student consultants are paid by the CHI Program Manager at project completion
- All currently enrolled graduate and professional students are eligible to participate
Organization Eligibility Qualifications
- A community-based nonprofit organization or small business serving urban/diverse communities
- Located in the Twin Cities metropolitan area
- In operation for at least three years
- Nonprofits must be 501(c)(3) Certified
- Businesses must be Women-, Minority- or Disabled-owned
- Able to clearly define project scope, goals, objectives and deliverables
- Able to provide on-going educational experience and supervision to students
- Able to attend a pre-project orientation session and provide a post-project evaluation
- Able to pay an Administrative Fee of $100.00 (if your project is selected)
